Manufacturing Timings, Special Orders & Delivery

Please note that all Skomer jewellery is made and finished by hand therefore slight irregularities may occur.

As we make everything by hand at Skomer, and pride ourselves in taking great care when making each piece all of the products are made to order. Therefore standard production time is 4-5 weeks. Exceptions can be made during holidays or for special occasions so please do get in contact with us.

All parcels are shipped via Parcelforce and the Royal Mail either within the UK or internationally. Each parcel is tracked, insured and has proof of delivery included.

UK Delivery - £4.50

In the UK we deliver via the Royal Mail First Class Signed For service, for this please allow 4 working days for delivery after production.

Europe Delivery - £12.00

Throughout Europe we deliver via the Royal Mail International Signed For service, for this please allow 7 working days after production. Any tax or custom fees as deemed by your country's legal regulations are to be held responsible by the customer. 

 USA Delivery - £14.00

In the USA we deliver via the Royal mail International Signed For service, for this please allow 10 working days after production. Any tax or custom fees as deemed by your country's legal regulations are to be held responsible by the customer. 


Returns

All returns must be authorised by email, please contact Atelier Skomer at AtelierSkomer@gmail.com for repair and return requests. We are afraid that in accordance with health and hygiene regulations, earrings cannot be returned unless they are faulty. Please be careful with your choice and do not hesitate to ask for more information about the desired item before purchasing.

Return requests must be made within 7 days from receipt of delivery and all returns must be received by Skomer within 7 days of the email issued return authorisation. To be eligible for a return, you must return the item in the same condition in which you received it and in its original packaging together with receipt or proof of purchase.

Skomer has the right to refuse return of goods that do not meet the return policy requirements.

Any merchandise purchased at a discounted price are final sale, no refunds or exchanges will be accepted.

How to return an item:

Email us at AtelierSkomer@gmail.com and we will issue a return authorisation number. 

Before sealing the return package, please make sure the return authorisation number is included inside the package. If possible, also include a printed copy of the email in the package. Following these steps will ensure that we are able to process your return and credit your account as quickly as possible. 

Merchandise must be shipped securely packaged, pre-paid and must be received by Skomer within 7 days of receipt of return authorisation. Skomer does not pay for the shipping cost for returned packages. 

We recommend that all return packages be shipped via an insured parcel post such as Royal Mail. Please consider purchasing insurance for the return package as Skomer does not take any responsibility for reimbursement or compensation in the event that any return packages are lost, stolen, or mishandled.

Skomer will process the refund within 5 business days upon receiving the package.


Jewellery Care

 To protect your Skomer jewellery, pieces should be individually kept in the pouch provided with every purchase or within a soft lined jewellery box to prevent the pieces from being scratched. Ideally store your jewellery in a dark, cool and dry place, and try to keep pieces apart, so that they don't rub together or tangle up.

To clean your jewellery use a soft, lint free cloth to keep silver, 9ct and 18ct yellow gold plated jewellery looking shiny. A silver cleaner can also be used on sterling silver pieces.

Skomer can arrange for pieces to be re-plated or professionally polished if needed, please do email to request this service.
